Heard Here Sessions /

This one is still one of my favorite pieces of work we’ve done. We partnered with a company called All The Lads Media to help them produce a music performance feature for their company’s content. The feature is called Heard Here, and the performer was Chris Heine from the band Opposite States.

Chris is incredibly talented and put on a three-song performance that we shot, edited, and produced for All The Lads Media. This became their first exclusive video performance for their “Heard Here” feature. This video was all filmed in one day at Chris’ band practice space. The first song Chris performed was an original song called “Cynical” off of his band’s debut EP, “Opposite States – EP.” What’s normally a high-energy rock song became a somewhat mellowed version of the song, allowing the lyrics to show through.

After “Cynical,” Chris went into a cover of “All My Friends Are Metalheads” by the Florida-based band Less Than Jake, and finished out the performance with another original entitled “On My Own.” This last song is my favorite song from Chris and Opposite States, and the acoustic version he did rivals the full-band version on the “Opposite States – EP.
